Adventurous Airboat and Canoraft on the Guisane River

With this adventurous airboat or canoraft tour, set off alone or in pairs, accompanied by a guide, for a crazy adventure along the Guisane, in the heart of the Serre-Chevalier valley, with the Écrins massif in the background. On these manoeuvrable, but also more challenging boats, the thrills you experienced in rafting will be amplified. Close to the water, with only your paddle to guide you, you will feel the force of the waves, the swirl of the rapids and the power of the current. The most emblematic passage of this trip is the rapid between Chantemerle and Saint-Chaffrey which will put your technique to the test.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at the Sportrent shop in Chantemerle. There is a car park opposite where you can park your vehicle. There you will meet your instructors who will provide you with your equipment and give you some technical explanations, but also interesting information about the river. You can change in our changing rooms and leave your belongings in secure lockers. Afterwards, everyone meets up in the shuttle bus, which will drop you off at Villeuneuve-la-Salle for the start of the river trip.
- Tour:
This route, reserved for those with experience, will make you enjoy rafting differently. From Villeneuve, you will descend to Saint-Chaffrey. As you go down, the river will become stronger and more intense, promising you an exhilarating and dynamic final stretch.
- Return:
After 2 hours of travel, you will arrive in Saint-Chaffrey. As it is important to share the story of your adventures, you will be welcomed with a drink and a small snack, perfect for a convivial moment. Afterwards, our shuttle will take you back to the base, and you will return the equipment. Showers are also available.
